本周我们学习和综合素质相关的词汇
1. civilized /ˈsɪvəˌlaɪzd/
adj.有礼貌的;举止得体的
e.g. Please behave like a civilized person and stop yelling in public.
e.g. They had a civilized discussion despite their opposing views.
反义：uncivilized 无教养的；不文明的
e.g. It’s uncivilized to cut in line like that.
e.g. Spitting on the street is considered uncivilized behavior.
2. holistic /həʊˈlɪstɪk/
adj. 整体的；全盘的
搭配：holistic education 综合素质教育
holistic development 全面发展
e.g. The school focuses on the holistic development of students, not just academics.

n.能力;才干

e.g. There are many careers that require a high degree of linguistic competence.
competent adj. 有能力的
搭配：be competent + in / at + 在某方面有能力
be competent to do something 有能力做某事
e.g. She is competent to lead the team.
e.g. She is competent at using Excel and other software tools.
