The table below shows the income and expenditure of Harckley Hall, a public place for hiring over the period of three years.

On the whole, total incomeincreasedfrom £83,500 in Year 1 toa peak of£85,000 in Year 2,before falling back to£84,000 in the last year. The total expenditure,however,saw a continuous risefrom £56,000 to £62,000 over the 3 years,narrowing the gap with the total income.As a consequence, the overall profitfell considerablyfrom £27,500 to £22,000.

Regarding specific revenue sources, we can find thatroom-rental incomeincreased slightlyfrom £34,000 to £35,000 during the first two years,before droppingremarkably to£32,000 in Year 3.Conversely,there was a modest decline inincome from running the Café, falling from £3,500 in Year 1 to £3,000 in Year 2,followed by a noticeable increaseof £1,000 in Year 3.As for funding, the local council donated £22,000 annually for the initial 2 years,after whichthis figuredipped marginallyto £21,000 in the subsequent year.In comparison, funding from other sourcessteadily increasedfrom £24,000 to £27,000 over the 3 years.
