Most of the subjects would probably never have given much thought to odour as a cue for identifying family members before being involved in the test, but as the experiment revealed, even when not consciously considered, smells register.(剑8 Test2 Passage3)
1）结构分析
层次一：
主句：Most of the subjects would never.... as a cue,but smells register
修饰①：for ...test【介短定语，修饰migration】
修饰②：as....revealed【as定从，but后整个句子，表正如....】
修饰③：even when........considered【even when状从，修饰but后主句，表让步】
结构总结：主句+介短+定从+状从
2）译文分析：红体字代表主干，括号代表修饰，大括号包括小括号
虽然大部分实验对象（在没有参加实验之前）从没有想过用气味识别家庭成员，但是（正如实验揭示的），（即使没有这样的意识），气味仍然会给人留下印象
